Job Description

The first and most important role an OEM Success Manager (OSM) has is to develop a positive and trusting relationship with American Honda and its dealer partners. To achieve that, OEM Success Manager (OSM) handles a variety of tasks both internally and on the customer-facing side of operations. The OSM is responsible to ensure strong platform usage at the OEM level as well as train the OEM field teams to ensure their dealer partners adopt Tekion’s Enterprise solution, demonstrate the value of the platform, illustrate how it positively impacts the dealers revenue, and increase/maintain high levels of usage at the dealerships. The OSM proactively identifies best practices how OEMs, and their dealer partners best utilize Tekion’s enterprise solution to create the most value. 

OEM Success Manager (OSM) constantly manages multiple tasks for their OEM and its entire dealer network. Some of their day-to-day responsibilities include: 

  • Training the OEM’s internal and external facing teams to support Tekion’s enterprise solution
  • Identify scope, timeline, and necessary stakeholders for OEM Enterprise Projects
  • Work with stakeholders, IT, Finance, Engineering and Product teams to deliver new features/integrations
  • Create timelines in alignment with OEM and internal product/engineering teams and ensure meeting agreed upon delivery dates
  • Drive project success together with OEM and dealer partners; develop strategies to avoid or overcome blockers
  • Handle OEM partner inquiries and communication 
  • Analyze dealer partner data to create KPIs and benchmarks in order to improve dealer workflows and ultimately customer experience
  • Evaluate, facilitate creation, and improve tutorials and other communication infrastructure 
  • Work with other departments to identify opportunities for increasing efficiency or improving workflow processes within the organization based on the analyses above 
  • Suggest new solutions or products to improve OEM and dealer partners’ operations 
  • Anticipate customer needs based on projects in the pipeline 
  • Prove their value, internally and externally, to promote business growth and profitability for all 

Skills and Experience

  • Superb communication and interpersonal skills 
  • Adaptable and able to quickly grasp and apply new info 
  • Be a strategic thinker, persuasive communicator and able to embrace frequent change 
  • Experience working in a customer service role 
  • Knowledge of OEM and customer success processes 
  • Highly organized, detailed and a self-starter 
  • Ability to travel (25%) within the USA

The salary range for this position is $79,560-$134,550. The salary range describes the minimum to maximum base salary range for this position across applicable US locations. This position is also eligible for a bonus whereby total compensation may exceed base salary depending on individual performance. The actual compensation offered may vary from the posted hiring range based on geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer.
