Job Description

As Program Manager Director at Tekion, you will play a pivotal role leading the delivery team for one of Tekion’s strategic customers, where you will be accountable for the client relationship, ensuring customer satisfaction, retention, account growth, the implementation and adoption of the Tekion platform.  As the primary delivery point of contact, you will guide the customer through the entire implementation lifecycle and beyond, and manage the day-to-day execution and delivery of client programs to generate customer business value.  Your focus will be on building strong trusted relationships, understanding client needs, and driving business outcomes that align with Tekion’s vision and the client’s business goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive customer success and adoption with a focus on long term relationships and expansion
  • Lead a cross functional team, including product management, engineering, and support resources, to deliver programs on-time, on-budget, and with quality
  • Primary delivery point of contact for client inquiries, requests, and escalations
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their business requirements and translate them into actionable project plans
  • Anticipate client needs, remove obstacles, track and mitigate risk, and manage client expectations
  • Identify and track key performance indicators and provide regular reporting on account health, customer value, and account financials
  • Identify opportunities to enhance client satisfaction and drive additional value through Tekion’s solutions
  • Stay up to date on industry trends, market changes, and product updates in the automotive industry
  • Communicate effectively with all levels at client and within Tekion, from executives to individual contributors
  • Travel: 25% - including travel to India

Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, Marketing, or related field (MBA preferred)
  • Experience as an Engagement Manager, Business Consultant, or similar role
  • Excellent client-facing and communication skills
  • Strong business acumen and ability to be a brand ambassador for Tekion
  • Team player who collaborates with internal stakeholders to maximize opportunities
  • Demonstrated ability to navigate between business and technical domains
  • Demonstrated ability to structure ambiguous problems and take action to solve them by focusing on the most important challenges

Preferred Skills

  • Automotive industry experience
  • Background with automotive retail software solutions such as dealership management systems (DMS)
  • Familiarity with cloud based enterprise solutions such as CRM or ERP systems
