Core Responsibilities:

  • Taking ownership of customer issues reported and seeing problems through to resolution

Required Skills:

Key Roles & Responsibilities: 

  • Maintain database systems, ensuring best practice processes are followed and service levels are met.  
  • Hands-on experience with MongoDB database & collections commands, Mongo shell methods, user, role, replication and shard methods, and MongoDB admin commands.  
  • Support MongoDB, MySQL and PostgreSQL databases   
  • maintain database structures, ensure optimal designs and coding practices are followed.  
  • Upgrades of MongoDB, Database Migrations and Updates, and application of database patches.  
  • Develop and implement Defragmentation strategies and Index rebuilds.

  • Good understanding of DB schema design, performance tuning and capacity planning 
  • Troubleshoot any problems that may come up with the database environments: performance issues, replication issues, or operational issues. 
  • Establish and maintain backup, restore and recovery processes.Implement and maintain MongoDB OPS Manager/Cloud Manager 
  • Understand and Optimize query performance 
  • Comfortable in using MongoDB tools like mongostat, mongotop, mongoexport, mongoimport, mongodump, mongorestore etc 
  • Experience with SQL and Pl/SQL development experience with MySQL and PostgreSQL databases. 

 

Required Skills :

  • 1- 3 Years of experience should be good. 
  • MongoDB Certified DBA Associate preferred

Data Privacy Manager

At Tekion, we understand the critical role that privacy and customer trust have in our company’s success. As our first Privacy Manager, you have the unique opportunity to build and maintain a robust, world-class privacy compliance program for a fast-growing unicorn startup. You will work closely with Legal, Compliance, and IT to identify and address privacy risks in our products as well as within our business operations.

 

You Will

·         Oversee Tekion’s privacy compliance program and strategically identify and mitigate privacy risks.  

·         Manage day-to-day privacy-related operations across multiple regions with cross-functional partners and teams (including product, HR, and marketing teams).

·         Perform thorough, documented privacy reviews assisting HR, IT, Marketing, and Legal to identify and mitigate privacy-impacting concerns.

·         Consult and provide guidance to product teams (including product managers, engineers, and designers) to develop creative solutions to privacy-by-design challenges during the development of innovative technical products.

·         Draft, maintain, and ensure compliance with internal and external privacy and data governance policies, standards, and procedures.

·         Manage incident management procedures and plans, and support with all privacy-related incidents, including data breaches.

·         Develop privacy trainings for a diverse audience.

·         Establish, communicate and implement a consistent strategic vision of privacy across the company by building consensus on priorities leading to product execution.

·         Develop and build strategic relationships with partners and business teams in order to collaborate on integrating privacy into product software development and business processes.

 

Minimum Qualifications

·         5+ years of work experience on data privacy or relevant technology products, Risk, IT, Audit, or technical program management.

·         Experience successfully leading cross-organizational programs by holding teams and individuals accountable to timelines and deliverables.

·         Highly organized, productive, poised, and experience thriving in high-pressure, time-sensitive scenarios.

·         Experience with relationship building and collaboration to bring together multiple perspectives within cross-functional teams.

·         Knowledge of compliance methods, standards, processes, governance models, and industry standard compliance frameworks.

  • Design and Build complicated Workflow

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
