Associate Software Engineer - Frontend

Associate Manager Finance

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain database systems, ensuring best practice processes are followed and service levels are met.

What we are looking for:

  • Experience in Open-source Database platforms like MongoDB, PostgreSQL, MySQL

  • Performance tuning i.e. database initialization parameter tuning, database tuning, query and Pl/Sql tuning
  • Database security, database hardening, data encryption at rest and at fly
  • Implementing normalized and deformalized star and snowflake schema.
  • Choosing between RDBMS and NoSQL
  • Architecture experience with at least two RDBMS engines Microsoft SQL, MySQL, Oracle, PostgreSQL
  • Architecture experience with at least one NoSQL engines MongoDB, Redis, Cassandra, Pouch DB, HBase, Memcache, Orient DB
  • Experience with data migration strategies for heterogeneous and cloud migration
  • Experience leading software engineering teams (e.g. setting technical direction, mentoring junior engineers, etc.)

Preferred Qualifications & Required Skills:

  • 10+ years of experience in database architecture design and development
  • Experience with NoSQL, SQL databases, statistics and algorithms
  • Experience with Hadoop, Hive, Pig, and related software stacks

We are looking to hire a Sr. HRBP to support Tekion India to drive results increasing organizational effectiveness and efficiency. This includes implementing annual HR programs such as performance reviews, promotions, succession planning, and action plans resulting from employee surveys.

You will partner with your stakeholders throughout the planning and execution for these programs, tying them back to the business strategy. You will also work to improve organizational design and structure, provide change leadership and management coaching, as well as design and deliver management training. You will lead and participate in cross group and company wide projects such as creation of new job families and career paths for Tekion’s technical employees, development of internal processes and policies, plus recognition and retention programs. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  1.  Work with senior management and the HR team to develop and implement HR plans and solutions.
  2. Partner with business on organizational design, workforce planning, succession planning, and skills assessment and development.
  3. Provide management coaching to front line managers and senior leaders.
  4. Assess the business unit's HR training needs and conduct 1:1 and group training sessions as appropriate.
  5. Review and analyze business metrics including data on retention and employee experience in order to recommend systemic improvements.
  6. Partner with the business to lead both annual and mid-year review processes which focus on performance management and talent development.
  7. Provide compensation support including salary planning, approval of salary actions, promotions and job re-leveling
  8. Work with line managers and employees to address all types of employee relations issues, fairly representing all interests.
  9. Work with business groups to assess, create and implement innovative solutions for a variety of employee engagement initiatives within the client group.

  • Use scripts as a guide to create the content from raw video to meet a polished image using screen capture and video editing tools.
