Job Description

Field implementation for our important dealer partners, including onsite training and implementation.  We’re looking for talented professionals who love challenges, push boundaries and are passionate about successfully implementing a transformational product. (Automotive specialists in Accounting, Digital Retail Integrations, CRM, Forms, Finance, Parts, Service experience highly desired)

Responsibilities

  • Provide DMS training to dealership staff in all departments and having fun while doing it
  • Proactively identify implementation risks and mitigate them effectively and efficiently
  • Manage training and setup items in an organized manner, keeping detailed notes, and effectively passing along notes and action items to our customer transition team
  • Must successfully complete a 12 week certification/training program and display a strong grasp of product and processes for 5 star implementation practices

Qualifications

  • Proven experience implementing SaaS solutions is preferred
  • Experience working in an early-stage startup environment is a plus
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, interacting with all levels of stakeholders

Job Description

The Data Specialist is an exciting opportunity for someone highly detail-oriented and seeking a new role that will grow their career with an expanding software organization. The role focuses on working to obtain, interpret, audit, test and enter Original Equipment Manufacturers’ (OEM’s) lender data into a proprietary content management tool for syndication to various products. Think major car manufacturers such as General Motors.

The DataSpecialist will use APIs and public websites to research and analyze tax & fee results/calculations within 3rd-party and internal products. We will teach you everything you need to know to take on this role and expand your career as you will be responsible for the accuracy and efficiency standards of the company’s supported products. 

Responsibilities

  • The Data Specialist will learn how to apply specialized knowledge of automotive vehicle and program information for each assigned OEM & lender; and update & maintain all data toward providing accurate information within our products.
  • Utilize data feeds, websites, emails or similar to obtain and process new data updates.
  • Enter all required data into a proprietary content management tool in an accurate and timely manner. 
  • Audit data accuracy of team members and personal entries to ensure quality of entries. 
  • Individual will proactively source and obtain new or missing lender & OEM data as needed to ensure all data is available and accurate within products. 
  • Research and validate tax & fee calculations across cities, counties, states and provinces.
  • Assist department with automating data entry wherever possible.
  • Complete all assigned projects on time and within established SLAs
  • Correct any known data errors and respond to inquiries received from customer support, external partners, and internal team members.

Skills & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree or 2 plus years in a similar role
  • Proficiency with MS office especially Excel
  • Ability to make, understand and analyze API calls/responses (Postman)
  • 10-key experience preferred as you will be working with lots of numbers
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills 
  • Be organized and adaptable to an ever-changing and fast-moving field
  • Must be a team player but also able to work autonomously
  • Must perform well under tight deadlines for a key portion of the first week of each month
  • High level of data-entry accuracy 
  • Experience with lender rate sheets and OEM programs is a plus

Director, Global Compensation

As the Director, Global Compensation, you will be responsible for setting the compensation strategy globally at Tekion. You will oversee the development, implementation, and maintenance of the company compensation strategy and programs. You will conduct job evaluation and salary surveys, establish salary structures, develop salary budget recommendations, help the company achieve equitable and competitive employee compensation and work with management to assess competitive labor market trends.   

You will provide support and guidance to the management team and HR Business Partners as the subject matter expert in global compensation while maintaining a working knowledge of federal and state legislation that may affect compensation practices. You will be responsible for incentive, stock option and bonus plan design and administration programs to attract and retain talent. You will also have a role in the selection, administration, and maintenance of compensation related tools and systems. This role will report to the Senior Vice President, Human Resources.  

Key Responsibilities 

  • Lead compensation efforts for the Global Tekion Team. 
  • Develop and oversee compensation programs to ensure Tekion remains competitive both internally and with external trends. 
  • Guide the Compensation team along with Business Leaders and HR Business Partners through key compensation activities including compensation planning processes, new hire compensation/promotions, severance review, annual incentive plan administration, market pricing/position matches, and market intelligence. 
  • Prepare and manage meaningful compensation analyses for ensuring proper compensation levels, as well as approval and governance of program. 
  • Accrual support for MBO Bonus Plans and other commission pay plans, and equity programs 
  • Develop and provide compensation 101 training as needed 
  • Oversee the design and maintenance of compensation programs. 
  • Lead additional ad-hoc projects as assigned. 

Skills and Qualifications 

  • 7+ years of experience including previous compensation experience preferred. 
  • Experience with India compensation markets preferred 
  • Bachelor's degree preferred in business and/or analytical studies; Master's degree recommended. CCP recommended. 
  • Exceptional analytical skills. 
  • Advanced Excel (e.g., macros, pivots, VLOOKUP) and PowerPoint skills.) 
  • Sales commission plan experience desired 
  • Executive compensation and Compensation Committee experience a plus 
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Implementation Manager

Job Description

This role will lead up to 18 conquest ARC implementation projects concurrently through various phases of the implementation project life cycle to ensure timely and successful rollouts. This will require planning and coordination with our dealer partners as well as our product and implementation teamsCandidates for this role need to have an in-depth understanding of both the automotive industry and the Tekion platform, and exceptional project management skills.   

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage 5-6 implementations in the initiation and planning phase

- Cultivate the relationship with dealership stakeholders. Consult on process changes and utilization goals

- Accurately access risk and adjust the project plan with minimal impact to go live timing 

- Schedule implementation with internal and external teams 

- Coordinate all pre-implementation work and information distribution to teams such as integrations, F&I forms, product managers, PSMs and conversion

- Properly set and manage dealer expectations 

  • Manage up to 5-6 implementations in the execution and controlling phase 

- Ensure projects are implemented with consistency

- Monitor completion of critical implementation signoffs from key dealership staff 

- Facilitate communication checkpoints throughout the implementation to ensure dealership stakeholders and internal teams remain on the same page 

  • Manage up to 5-6 implementations in the closing phase  

- Ensure all projects are completed with end-user comprehension and satisfaction before being handed off to the Account Management team 

- Organize and archive all documents related to the implementation

- Update project checklist items and implementation runbook to improve efficiency and quality for future implementations

About the Role

Our Implementation Specialists have a unique opportunity to work as experts within a specific defined specialty – Accounting, Forms, Integrations, Retail, Payroll and DRP. 

This role requires coordination across multiple internal and external teams to meet dealership and OEM required deliverables and partnering with the onsite implementation teams to provide operational visibility. Candidates for this role need to have an in-depth understanding of both the automotive industry and the Tekion platform.  

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide guidance to internal teams and end users in the most effective methods of building and maintaining financial statements

  • Train field team on how to use/test integrations.

  • Work with OEMs, dealers and vendor partners to identify use cases, integration requirements, business cases and end-user experiences.
  • Oversee and own the entire integrations process end-to-end.
  • Establish trusting communication with our commercial, product and engineering teams.

  • Coach's supervisors and managers on employee performance issues, disciplinary actions, terminations, employee conflicts, policy violations, etc.

The Senior Implementation Partner quarterbacks an efficient partnership between Tekion implementation & product teams, and dealer partners. This person will leverage their deep experience working in dealerships and implementing automotive Saas applications. They’ll communicate internally and externally to identify dealer technology and integration requirements. With strong document through explicit discussion, observation, and dig deep to learn the dealer’s operational intricacies, this person will ensure a smooth implementation process regardless of dealership entity size or complexity.

 Role and Responsibilities

  • Deeply understand and embody the voice of our dealer partners by doing qualitative research and communicating quantitative product / implementation requirements to Tekion teams.
  • Quickly build rapport with dealership executive stakeholders and individual contributors, along with the Tekion product and engineering leaders.
  • Embed yourself into the strategic dealership sales cycle so that the requirements are documented into an Implementation Process Guide that all internal and external stakeholders agree to.
  • Anticipate and confirm existing / potential pain points explicitly and through observation. Document the desired outcome and validate the solution internally through user acceptance testing and externally with users when deployed to production.
  • Track committed deliverables against deadlines in order to maintain launch timelines.
  • Drive product-led implementation process improvements by partnering with implementation, conversion, product and engineering leaders to enable the field teams to be self-serving and efficient.
  • Learn from each implementation to continuously improve processes and help colleagues learn and grow in stride.
  • Champion the domain - Track industry trends and the competitive landscape as they pertain to our product and help define the product improvement strategy to constantly stay ahead of the curve.

Qualifications

  • 8+ years of DMS experience in the automotive industry
  • Proven experience and deep understanding of implementing automotive SaaS solutions in large and small automotive dealership groups

  • Load dealership submission data and distribute across all technology teams
  • Monitor and track the completion of internal and external submissions within the PMS, triggering actions by the Technology Team 
  • Track technology blueprint submissions against implementation milestones 
  • Track pre-go live readiness against implementation milestones 
  • Track post go-live completion and against implementation milestone 
  • Archive submission data. Update implementation trackers and reports 
  • Maintain technology team resource tracking reports
  • Update approved travel, PTO and travel requests
  • Coordinate with other implementation teams on resource and capacity planning 
  • Update Technology Sustainability team responsibility profiles based on location, restrictions, and certifications

Training Delivery Specialist

About the Role

Within the Learning Design team, we are looking for an experienced virtual training facilitator who has a passion for inspiring participants and finessing content that is focused, engaging and fun. This position works closely with the Learning Design team to tailor and deliver learning directly to our dealer partners. Skills & Qualifications

  • 2+ years Automotive Retail/Digital Retail experience (installation/support preferred)
  • Minimum of 2-5 years trainer experience (1+ as remote delivery)
  • Ability to follow and enhance facilitator guide.
  • Gather valid content updates
  • Experience facilitating via Zoom/Webex
  • Excellent presentation and facilitation and remote delivery skills
  • Excellent planning, organization, and implementation skills.
  • Familiar with adult learning concepts and technique
  • Knowledge of instructional design process
  • Experience in interacting with and influencing content creation and delivery
  • Able to work on a flexible schedule acceptance to change enthusiastically
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Experience in running multiple projects at a time.
  • Maintain training environment

About the Role

If you have ever thought: “I want to deliver the whole pie, not just a slice”, this is the role for you.  This role is a chance to break out of “one lane” training and deliver a comprehensive content program to your learner. The Training Specialist will take Tekion to the next level, as this company rides the rocket ship you will be instrumental in translating the industry, product, and process knowledge we have to our newest Tekionites. This role is open for two specialty areas: Parts/Service (Fixed) and Accounting/Retail (Variable).

Key Responsibilities 

  • Design, develop and revise instructional strategies and learning materials using effective principles of adult learning theory and evaluation data; validate all components

  • Deliver asynchronous and synchronous learning for Industry, Platform Product, and Process.

  • Leverage a blended learning environment to maximize learning potential and results.

  • Will work closely with the Tekion Content Design team to ensure training material is properly created, maintained, and updated.

  • Understand details around the knowledge of applicable dealership/industry workflows as it pertains the use of Tekion created solutions.

  • Participates in Tekion product evolution to determine level of training development materials and ensuring proper communication to the learner.

  • Participate in formal and informal problem-solving assessments of learners in program.

  • Provides coaching support to staff to ensure consistency of learner skills and knowledge

  • Maintains accurate training records and notes to be used in learner coaching.

  • Responsible for staying current on automotive industry trends and information.

  • Assist with logistics, transportation and coordination of materials and site locations.

  • Perform other duties as assigned or required.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • • 3+ years dealership industry experience required (3 years in support and/or implementation)

  • 2 years of blended environment training experience preferred

  • Automotive industry content development experience

  • Ability to provide advice/direction in primary areas of expertise

  • Bachelor's degree in communications or related field

Preferred Skills and Experience:

  • LMS administration
  • Coaching Certification
