Job Description

The role is comprised of account management duties surrounding physical and cloud technology at current dealer partners. This requires an in-depth understanding of both on-premise hardware and cloud technologies to ensure end-to-end functionality and reliability, both internally and externally. This role works closely with our partner success and account management teams to ensure that dealer partners have consistent, functioning, and reliable technology to support all daily dealership operations. We’re looking for talented professionals who love challenges, push boundaries and are passionate about successfully implementing a transformational product.

Responsibilities

  • Provide high - touch technology account management across the dealer partner network
  • Simultaneously manage technology operations at 40 - 50 operating dealer partners
  • Act as an escalation point for our application and hardware support team
  • Manage multiple external vendors and stakeholders at one time and as needed
  • Facilitate key stakeholders to successfully support the Tekion technology platform
  • Proactively identify functional technology risks and mitigate them effectively and efficiently
  • Actively participate in upselling dealership clients on new cutting - edge solutions and transformational products

Qualifications

  • 2 + years of DMS technology experience or field systems experience in the technology industry
  • Strong understanding of hybrid - cloud technologies and architectures
  • Experience with Amazon Web Services(AWS), Microsoft Azure, and / or Google Cloud Platform(GCP)
  • Working knowledge of Cisco Meraki and other cloud - managed network architectures
  • Experience with Windows Server, Linux, and / or other server architectures
  • Experience with IoT devices, digital display technologies, network infrastructure, print and scan management technologies and solutions, and mobile device management
  • Proven experience implementing technology in distributed, remote locations
  • Experience working in an early - stage startup environment is a plus
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, interacting with all levels of stakeholders
  • Established ability to articulate technical jargon into consumable levels of understanding for adult learners
  • Proven ability to take customer suggestions or insights and translate them into technical deliverables

  • Lead your product Engagement & Communication – Establish rapport with leaders across all departments including Engineering, Marketing, Analytics, Sales, Business Development, and work collaboratively with them to streamline communication and processes. You will specifically be a point person our leadership and internal stakeholders will look up to for answers or direction on anything related to your products.
  • Build for speed at scale – Define and drive processes that would enable us to execute quickly, while still doing it in a repeatable and sustainable manner. You will need to choose where to invest your and your team’s time, effectively communicate the trade-offs, and make sure we can hit not just today’s goals, but also our 1 and 3 year goals.

About the Job

  • Experience: You have 5 years of experience in FinTech-related roles or software product management experience.

Requirements

Job Description

We're looking for an experienced Sales Development Representative to work closely with our Sales and Marketing teams. The role will include researching target accounts, managing incoming leads, developing call strategies and follow up process around lead generation to drive sales qualified opportunities.

The ideal candidate will be able to seek new business opportunities by contacting and developing relationships with potential clients in the franchise automotive vertical while communicating the Tekion value proposition to key decision-makers to assess buying interest. This role supports our Advanced Analytics product which is a critical part of our DMS value and dealer partnership. As a Partner Success Reporting and Analytics Manager, you will help onboard dealers with our new dashboard and reporting product, by working with both internal and external stakeholders. Organizational skills are a must to help manage the multiple teams and tasks involved with setup and launch. Having experience in various retail automotive rolls allows you to translate data from all aspects of the DMS software to action for our dealers.   • Develop and then leverage industry knowledge to identify important performance trends and key drivers to success that should be viewed and tracked by our Advanced Analytics Platform
  • Actively participate in training dealership clients and find new opportunities for them to maximize their revenue, gross and expense management via data insights.

 Qualifications

  • 5+ years of retail experience in the auto industry in leadership roles such Sales Manager, Service Manager, Business Manager, Finance Manager.
  • Experience in implementing SaaS solutions in large and small auto dealerships is a plus.
  • Knowledge of products like Looker or Tableau would be beneficial in exceling at this role.

  • Work with multiple dealers through the onboarding timeline using internal company tracking tools  
  • Ensure delivery of quality dealer onboarding, efficiently and across multiple dealerships concurrently 
  • Document and account for activity in internal program management tool 
  • Proactively anticipate dealer partner’s needs, challenges and expectations as well as seek out opportunities process improvements  
  • Perform data entry to assist in system configurations, including forms
  • Communicate with third party vendors to establish enable integrated services 
  • Provide updates to ensure onboarding is completed on time and within guidelines
  • Collaborate to create best practices, achieve timelines and meet expectations 
  • Respond to customer escalations when necessary 
  • Handle routine customer questions relating to product usage, as well as support issues relating to products

  • Facilitate communication and response, from Support Team to other departments as needed to manage cases

Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience 
  • 5 + years of experience in related field/industry (software implementation, etc)

Frontend Software Engineer

Tekion is looking for talented   Software Engineer   - UI who want to be part of building the next-generation business applications on the cloud. Software Engineer   - UI will use his/her passion and expertise for creating world-class products. He/she will collaborate with the product and engineering teams and development managers to create the business application of the future. 

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and Build complicated Workflow
  • Take end-to-end ownership of components and be responsible for the subsystems that you work on from design, code, testing, integration, deployment, enhancements, etc 

  • Experience in JavaScript (ReactJS / Redux) React Native, HTML, CSS, JQuery, HTTP
  • Strong understating of XML, JSON, DOM, and w3c standards
  • Providing technical expertise for every phase of the project lifecycle; from concept development to solution design, implementation, optimization and support
  • Be an Interface with Stockholder sand architects to create technology specifications from business requirements for one or more modules within the project
  • Responsible to prepare the technical design of the components within the module (one or more of client/web presentation tier, server tier, data access and data model, integration component, package function customization)
  • Proficient in articulating the pros and cons of using a certain technology stack or component or design pattern versus another to the clients and project team and drives selection of technologies, designs to come up with the optimal architecture
  • Drives the performance tuning, re-design and re-factoring for a module
  • Contributes to designing and implementing the build, release process as well as system configuration and deployment characteristics of the application
  • Implements (hands-on) the module components based on prevailing Framework and Open-source standards & its best practices.
  • Mentors the team (people working on the module and other project team members) on technology concepts and best practices for design, implementation and other processes

 

Minimum Qualification

  • Bachelor’s in computer science or relevant fields
  • Strong sense of ownership
  • Attitude for getting things done
  • Understanding of basic Rest Principles
  • Familiar with project management tools like JIRA etc.
  • Will be involved in developing any enterprise systems like eCommerce, manufacturing, supply chain, etc.,
  • Excellent understanding of performance and optimization techniques
  • Experience of working with Git
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced start-up environment

  • Up to 25% travel to client sites if necessary
