Field Manager (OEM/DRP)

About the Role

The DRP OEM Field Manager is the relationship owner at the District and Zone Manager level for Tekion’s GM- Digital Retail Platform program. In this capacity the DRP OEM Field Manager has the responsibility to:

  • The OEM Field Manager will be the primary point of contact for the GM Zone/District manager in their assigned Region. Their primary responsibility is to help provide support and training for the District / Zone representative for GM, often helping with dealership escalations and needs.
  • This is a hands-on position, that will require the successful candidate travel to dealership and across their region to support the needs of the District/Zone manager as well as Tekion.
  • Tekion will require the OEM Field Manager to provide in dealership support and respond to unique needs that are escalated to ensure the success of the GM DRP program.
  • The OEM Field Manager will drive the product and service offering and customer adoption for assigned OEM field partners.
  • Assist in the implementation and support Tekion as necessary to achieve continued success of GM-DRP product for the OEM, the OEM Zone/District Manager and the Dealership within their market/region.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead activities to ensure execution of contractual obligations by Tekion and the OEM partners
  • Manage and drive the overall growth of the Partnership with the Zone/District Manager and the dealerships within their network
  • Identify, cultivate, and maintain relationships with key decision makers at the OEM Field and District level.
  • Identify and coordinate the development of key processes and systems required to support daily business activities with the OEM partner.
  • In conjunction with OEM and Tekion:

- Coordinate OEM training support at all levels, corporate and dealer

- Develop and coordinate marketing campaigns and budgets

- Coordinate efforts for dealer events and other related OEM marketing or training efforts

  • Support Customer Relationship Management (CRM) programs and efforts to drive stronger conversion and retention.
  • Work in conjunction with Tekion’s support, implementation and engineering team to promote and encourage adoption of the GM DRP program features, services and hardware
  • Provide regular feedback on OEM status to appropriate management at Tekion
  • Program development
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Supervisory Responsibilities

  • No direct supervisory responsibilities. 
  • Required to work with members of other internal groups to achieve stated objectives.
  • Road warrior travel mentality (25-75% travel for the first 6 months due to aggressive implementation roadmap. After 6 months, 25-50% maximum travel)

 

Minimum Qualifications

  • Undergraduate Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Automotive Engineering or related field or equivalent experience
  • 5 years of demonstrated achievement in either an DMS Software provider, automotive software provider, or tier one auto supplier
  • Experience with project management, business planning, automotive retail (sales and F&I), and accounting is preferred
  • Experience in the Automotive Digital Retailing and / or Electric Vehicle Market a plus
  • Road warrior travel mentality (25-75% travel for the first 6 months due to aggressive implementation roadmap. After 6 months, 25-50% maximum travel)

Implementation Manager

Job Description

This role will lead up to 18 conquest ARC implementation projects concurrently through various phases of the implementation project life cycle to ensure timely and successful rollouts. This will require planning and coordination with our dealer partners as well as our product and implementation teamsCandidates for this role need to have an in-depth understanding of both the automotive industry and the Tekion platform, and exceptional project management skills.   

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage 5-6 implementations in the initiation and planning phase

- Cultivate the relationship with dealership stakeholders. Consult on process changes and utilization goals

- Accurately access risk and adjust the project plan with minimal impact to go live timing 

- Schedule implementation with internal and external teams 

- Coordinate all pre-implementation work and information distribution to teams such as integrations, F&I forms, product managers, PSMs and conversion

- Properly set and manage dealer expectations 

  • Manage up to 5-6 implementations in the execution and controlling phase 

- Ensure projects are implemented with consistency

- Monitor completion of critical implementation signoffs from key dealership staff 

- Facilitate communication checkpoints throughout the implementation to ensure dealership stakeholders and internal teams remain on the same page 

  • Manage up to 5-6 implementations in the closing phase  

- Ensure all projects are completed with end-user comprehension and satisfaction before being handed off to the Account Management team 

- Organize and archive all documents related to the implementation

- Update project checklist items and implementation runbook to improve efficiency and quality for future implementations 

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of DMS experience in the auto industry 
  • Proven experience leading implementations for SaaS solutions in large and small automotive dealership groups
  • A passion for challenging the status quo by questioning and improving existing systems, including a playful intelligence
  • Experience working in an early-stage startup environment is a plus
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, interacting with all levels of stakeholders
  • Established ability to articulate technical jargon into consumable levels of understanding for adult learners
  • Proven ability to take customer suggestions or insights and translate them into technical deliverables for internal implementation and product teams
  • 5+ years in Project Management or Project Lead role is preferred
  • PMP Certification a plus
  • Travel (75%)

About the Role

Our Implementation Specialists have a unique opportunity to work as experts within a specific defined specialty – Accounting, Forms, Integrations or Retail.

This role requires coordination across multiple internal and external teams to meet dealership and OEM required deliverables and partnering with the onsite implementation teams to provide operational visibility. Candidates for this role need to have an in-depth understanding of both the automotive industry and the Tekion platform.  

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide guidance to internal teams and end users in the most effective methods of building and maintaining financial statements
  • Collaborate with product managers and conversion teams to identify and implement efficiencies that drive accuracy and speed
  • Improve checklists and sign-offs to drive understanding, transparency and accuracy
  • Lead internal cross-department training sessions to build a collective understanding of dealership accounting, financial statements and operational reporting
  • Establish best practices and defaults. Work with internal teams to automate steps where possible
  • Develop and document feedback/experience from end-users

 

Specialty Overview & Responsibilities 

  • Accounting

- Heavy focus on dealership accounting (from financial statements to DOC’s and more)

- Ensure financial statements and DOCs are accurately mapped according to timelines that build the confidence of dealer operational leadership and end users

  • Forms

- Heavy focus on F&I forms (from customer dealership to OEM, lender, state and country specific forms)

- Ensure financial statements and DOCs are accurately mapped according to timelines that build the confidence of dealer operational leadership and end users

  • Integrations

- Heavy focus on dealership workflows (for every dealership launched on our platform we partner with our dealers to define ideal workflows and implement them. This means working with 3rdparty vendors and OEMs to enable and configure integrations to ensure go lives go off without a hitch)

- Ensure 3rdparty and OEM applications are accurately mapped and enabled according to timelines that build the confidence of dealer operational leadership and end users 

  • Retail

- Heavy focus on automotive desking and sales (from interfacing with customers via F&I menus to booking deals that comply with the complex and rigid worlds of OEMs, lenders and regions)

- Ensure each ARC cloud sales system is configured accurately according to timelines that build the confidence of end users and ISMs

 

Qualifications 

  • 3+ years of DMS experience in the auto industry
  • A passion for challenging the status quo by questioning and improving existing systems, including a playful intelligence
  • Experience working in an early-stage startup environment is a plus
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, interacting with all levels of stakeholders
  • Established ability to articulate technical jargon into consumable levels of understanding for adult learners
  • Proven ability to take customer suggestions or insights and translate them into technical deliverables for internal implementation and product teams

Job Description

Multiple roles comprising implementation duties and ongoing account management for our important partners. This requires an in-depth understanding of both the automotive industry and the Tekion platform. We’re looking for talented professionals who love challenges, push boundaries and are passionate about successfully implementing a transformational product. ( Automotive specialists in accounting, Digital Retail Integrations, CRM, Forms, Fixed, Parts, Service experience highly desired)

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate key stakeholders during the implementation life cycle to successfully deploy our DMS
  • Provide DMS training to dealership staff in all departments and having fun while doing it
  • Proactively identify implementation risks and mitigate them effectively and efficiently
  • Manage training and setup items in an organized manner, keeping detailed notes, and effectively passing along notes and action items to our customer transition team
  • Must successfully complete a 4-8 week certification/training program and display a strong grasp of product and processes for 5 star implementation practices
  • Actively participate in upselling dealership clients on new cutting-edge solutions and transformational products

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of DMS experience in the auto industry
  • Proven experience implementing SaaS solutions in large and small auto dealerships
  • Experience working in an early-stage startup environment is a plus
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, interacting with all levels of stakeholders

About the Role

We are looking for a Product Specialists (Instructional Designers) to join the our team who’s mission is to bring together key stakeholders including customers and cross-functional internal to ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to the client's needs and also support product management’s need to scale. This is an important role that helps bring together Product Operations, Customer Success, Learning Design, Content Creation, Marketing and Product Management.

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Work cross-functionally:
  • Engage with Implementation Success Managers and customers to understand challenges today with respect to product roll-out, traction, training, and support for product specialty
  • Work side-by-side embedded with Product teams to drive increased product traction, reduced support ticket, and ultimately a great experience for end customers.

Product Solutions Architect

Job Description

  • Identify, engage and develop relationships with major key stakeholders at OEM and vendor partner levels.

  • Create integration timeline in alignment with OEM, as well as product/engineering teams to meet agreed upon delivery dates.
  • Drive integrations together with OEM partner, identify fastest path to success, and develop strategies to avoid and overcome blockers.
  • Introduce and present Tekion products and services at all OEM and vendor partner levels.
  • As required, understand integration needs with vendor partners and drive those integrations together with Product/Engineering team to completion.
  • Train field team on how to use/test integrations.
  • Become an expert on DMS integrations on both the OEM side as well as the vendor partner side.
  • Represent Tekion at conferences and trade shows as required.

Responsibilities

  • Work with OEMs, dealers and vendor partners to identify use cases, integration requirements, business cases and end-user experiences.
  • Oversee and own the entire integrations process end-to-end.
  • Establish trusting communication with our commercial, product and engineering teams.

  • BS degree with 5 or more years of Account Management experience

  • Leading others to work effectively in a strong customer service and team-oriented environment

About the Role 

The Onboarding Coordinator is the first touch point for all commercial new hires. They are responsible for creating a warm/welcome/wanted feel. The Learning & Development Team's key attributes are curiosity, collaboration and accountability. We love to have fun and support Tekion teams! In this role, you will create relationships with all commercial teams learning the culture and roles of sales, implementation, support, learning, and marketing. The Onboarding Coordinator is also responsible for the following: 

  • Launch new hire groups into their designated programs
  • Communicate expectations for the first week creating an environment of accountability and support
  • Manage mentor/buddy program
  • Create Learning projects and assign appropriate LMS courses
  • Create synchronous/asynchronous learning
  • Company Tools
  • Departmental specific content
  • Dealership Operations content (to support green hires)

Skills & Qualifications

  • Ability to collaborate with Commercial department teams to develop individual programs
  • Ability to create a needs analysis for initial onboard needs by department
  • Ability to create job aids to support independent learning

About the Role

If you have ever thought: “I want to deliver the whole pie, not just a slice”, this is the role for you.  This role is a chance to break out of “one lane” training and deliver a comprehensive content program to your learner. The Training Specialist will take Tekion to the next level, as this company rides the rocket ship you will be instrumental in translating the industry, product, and process knowledge we have to our newest Tekionites. This role is open for two specialty areas: Parts/Service (Fixed) and Accounting/Retail (Variable).

Key Responsibilities 

  • Design, develop and revise instructional strategies and learning materials using effective principles of adult learning theory and evaluation data; validate all components

  • Deliver asynchronous and synchronous learning for Industry, Platform Product, and Process.

  • Leverage a blended learning environment to maximize learning potential and results.

  • Will work closely with the Tekion Content Design team to ensure training material is properly created, maintained, and updated.

  • Understand details around the knowledge of applicable dealership/industry workflows as it pertains the use of Tekion created solutions.

  • Participates in Tekion product evolution to determine level of training development materials and ensuring proper communication to the learner.

  • Participate in formal and informal problem-solving assessments of learners in program.

  • Provides coaching support to staff to ensure consistency of learner skills and knowledge

  • Maintains accurate training records and notes to be used in learner coaching.

  • Responsible for staying current on automotive industry trends and information.

  • Assist with logistics, transportation and coordination of materials and site locations.

  • Perform other duties as assigned or required.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • • 3+ years dealership industry experience required (3 years in support and/or implementation)

  • 2 years of blended environment training experience preferred

  • Automotive industry content development experience

  • Ability to provide advice/direction in primary areas of expertise

  • Bachelor's degree in communications or related field

Preferred Skills and Experience:

  • LMS administration
  • Coaching Certification
